In the late winter of 1989 at a copyparty a collaboration of party breakers freaked out. Noone could have estimated the debris that would follow in their path forever breaking new ground in the fight for the Scene...

As you might be able to read (had you been sober during your english lessons) from the title screen from the first REBELS demo ever, Wheels of Steel, Rebels was founded the 12th of February 1989 at the Bamiga sector one and the Warfalcons Copyparty. Another story has circulated regarding the founding of the group which is wrong. M:et never joined Rebels before November 1989.
