The winning streak

In 1989 Rebels created several demos, including the today legendary Megademo 1 featuring Subway, the winner of the Swedish national TV demo competition Bit for Bit.

In the summer of 1989 Rebels consisted of a Danish and a Yugoslavian division, and at the Trollhattan Halloween party in November 1989 another division joined in, Sweden. Originally the Swedish members came from Neutron Dance (a new group with members from Paradise and ZYX and Amigalords) and a(c)a - Anti Copyright Association which were much more famous on the Atari ST for Guide's little "test code". As far as I can remember, the folloing members joined Rebels at this time:
Alta, Mogwie, Spaghetti Box, Syntech, Lars, Fuzzac, M:et, O:et, Vic, Marillion, Rizzo...

The new Swedish members had something boiling on the stove...
